David Chamberlain began his professional woodworking career restoring antique furniture in Savannah, Georgia for master craftsman Greg Guenther. During this apprenticeship, he gained an appreciation of the craftsmanship in true heirloom quality furniture and cabinetry.
After earning a B.F.A. in Furniture Design from Savannah College of Art & Design, David worked in San Francisco under master Tom Sellars, who provides much of the custom modern furnishings for famed design firms such as The Wiseman Group and Douglas Durkin Design.
After several years in San Francisco, David moved to Brooklyn, New York. There, he ran the woodworking and metal shop and taught classes at Third Ward, a multidisciplinary artist's mecca. Currently, David resides in Salt Lake with his wife and three children.
